Webb Signs with Gas Gas

Gas Gas USA has just made the surprise announcement that they have signed Cody Webb to contest the 2010 AMA/NATC National Trials Series as well as the GEICO Powersports EnduroCross series. Early reports suggested that Webb would be returning to Sherco for the coming year, but on January 13th Gas Gas USA’s Dale Malasek made the announcement. “We are absolutely thrilled to have Cody riding for us this year,” said Malasek. “He is a very popular rider because of his great personality and he has the skills to match it. We believe he has what it takes to win the trials title in 2010 and we’re confident he’ll be among the front-runners in the EnduroCross series.”

Webb will be riding one of the new Gas Gas 300 “Race” models in Trials competition and for Endurocross he’ll be riding the new EC250.

“This gives me the chance to ride both Trials and EnduroCross, which is what I want to do,” said Webb. “I’ve been riding the bikes for a few weeks and I’m totally excited about this year.”
